We are responding to the requests of our schools across the country!

  • Join your facilitators, Betsy and Emory, for two 90-minute sessions designed to assist you in gaining a deeper understanding of the components of an effective MTSS Framework. Research and lessons learned from implementation suggests that although the essential components of multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) are consistent across grade spans, how they are translated into effective practice and integrated into school processes differ from district to district. These sessions help participants gain an overview of MTSS and identify considerations for how teams can design and implement MTSS in school settings.

  • REVIEW - components of an effective and sustaining MTSS Framework.

  • IDENTIFY – considerations for MTSS implementation.

  • ASSESS - current practices, beliefs, and behaviors that align with the goals and purposes of the MTSS framework.

Session 2 - How do we lead the MTSS transformative process?

Monday, May 16th: 4:00 to 5:30pm EST

  • DISCUSS – how we lead the transformative process in schools.

  • REVIEW – resources, frameworks, and guiding questions that support how teams can assess their individual current MTSS picture, and identify considerations, and make the necessary changes needed for successful implementation.

  • IDENTIFY – a marketing and communication strategy that states the purpose and scope of MTSS, and considers how necessary mindsets, culture and practices may require significant shifting.

  • DEVELOP – guiding questions and a theory of action that will support how your team will assess existing practices and initiatives that lead to designing and implementing the essential components for MTSS.
