Debra is from Rochester, NY and has extensive experience as a secondary ELA teacher, instructional coach, and district leader.
Over the past eight years, Debra served as an instructional coach and school designer in an educational non-profit.
She is passionate about instructional coaching, the complexities of this role, and the possibilities this role has to transform instruction and student achievement.
Kate is from Syracuse, NY and has spent over 20 years as a school-wide and district-wide instructional coach.
Over the past 10 years, Kate has supported the growth of other instructional coaches. Kate worked alongside Debra in the federally-funded research project.
Empowering instructional coaches to be leaders and changemakers in their roles is a highlight and source of joy for Kate.
